German Lessons

German can seem intimidating: long rules, tricky articles, complex cases. With the right guidance, however, it becomes clear, practical, and even enjoyable 😊
Since 2008, I have been living in the German-speaking cantons of Switzerland (Zurich and Zug). I started from scratch myself, both with the language and with my academic path. This personal journey gave me a deep understanding of the real challenges adults face when learning German, and the practical mindset needed to overcome them. I later studied Applied Languages at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Winterthur, focusing on English, German, and Italian. Through in-depth analysis of written and spoken texts and communication strategies, I developed strong linguistic and communicative expertise. Combined with my own experience, this allows me to truly put myself in my students’ shoes and guide them effectively.

I was born and raised in Reggio Emilia, with roots in Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany. Since 2007, I have lived and worked in international environments. I now live in a multicultural family in Zug (my husband is Irish) and understand firsthand what it means to navigate languages, cultures, and identities daily. In 2016, I completed my studies in Applied Languages at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Winterthur, specializing in Italian, German, and English. Through in-depth analysis of written and spoken texts and communication strategies, I developed strong linguistic, stylistic, and cultural competence.
